The property allows brides and grooms to customize their wedding to match their individual vision and tastes. Our waterfront location and barn provide a rustic, yet elegant setting that blends together with vintage and modern wedding themes. The Flyway's architectural details make for endless photo opportunities and the private and scenic location set the scene of a magical night.

WATERFRONT LOCATION

Located along the Currituck Sound, our lawn area provides an open view of the water for a spectacular sunset ceremony. The surrounding trees offer just the right amount of shade and endless possibilities for lighting and decor. Our pier is currently under construction, but open to the bride, groom and photographer for portraits.

HONEYMOON SUITE
​
The 24 hour rental package includes a 1 night stay for the bride and groom in The Eleanor suite. Use of the grounds begins at 12 pm on Friday and check out is on Sunday at 12 pm. This allows brides and grooms plenty of time to set up and break down.

PRIVATE SETTING

The Flyway Lodge rests on 26 acres of land and is located beside the Mackey Island Nature Preserve. This ensures you and your guests have a private location to celebrate your wedding reception.
