It’s all in the details. And these details were wonderfully captured by Vinluan Photography

THE COUPLE
Weddings are often grand celebrations filled with traditions, but sometimes, the most memorable events are those that reflect the unique personalities and stories of the bride and groom. This was the case for Casey and Troy, who crafted a wedding that perfectly expressed their love story—a story 8 years in the making, a story punctuated by many thoughtful details. One such detail involves their pups, Cabela, MJ and Axell, who were special members of the wedding party, each adorned with a succulent wreath. Keep reading to see the absolute “sweetest” way these babies were included in the reception!

THE SETTING
A warm October day with bright sunshine was the perfect setting for the theme of joining Casey’s Outer Banks roots with Troy’s Arizona roots. Casey’s bouquet, meticulously designed by Debbie at Fluttering Flowers , contained succulents and cacti mixed with blue-green eucalyptus and roses the color of painted desert sunsets.

THE ATTIRE
The black hats on the groomsmen and the boots under the bridesmaids’ dresses set the tone…..
……but Casey’s boots and Troy’s southwestern belt buckle stole the show!

THE CEREMONY
Troy and Casey have a love for dirt biking and motorcycle riding, so it was only fitting when Troy entered the ceremony on two wheels-a secret that was kept from even the wedding party! A special ceremony to combine the red grains of Arizona sand with the white sand of the Outer Banks signified their two lives becoming one.

THE FOOD
The southwestern menu began with a chip and veggie grazing table for cocktail hour, complete with two queso fountains–perfectly reflecting Casey and Troy’s sense of fun. Dinner buffet was a huge hit with the guests and even included an option for walking tacos, complete with bags of chips! Kudos to family friend Jackie Kennedy for providing the catering, and flawlessly executing Casey’s vision.
THE CAKE
Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes decorated with cacti and succulents were highlighted by the “Ride With Me Forever” topper that perfectly depicted the couple and their motorcycle. The cake, though. The cake was an absolute masterpiece by Tiffany Woodhouse and The Sweet Sunflour Bakery ! Casey and Troy said they loved chocolate chip cookies and Tiffany, in true fashion, ran with it. She turned their love into the most rustically beautiful cake adorned with succulents. And let me assure you that as soon as the cake cutting ceremony ended, people were lined up to devour that cake! Oh, did I mention that in addition to the pastries, there was a chocolate fondue fountain complete with fruit and other dippable treats?

And here’s where the goodest pups were showcased. Casey had perfect little renditions of Cabela, MJ and Axell crafted and they were displayed with the desserts, guarding them until cake cutting. Such an endearing gesture and keepsakes Casey and Troy will treasure!

THE PARTY

After a fun entrance by the bridal party, complete with a “Finally” sign (remember this was 8 years in the making) and a money gun shooting cash, Casey and Troy were formally announced and had their first dance as a married couple under the lights of their custom neon sign.

After a night of boot-scootin’ boogie, it was time to send Casey and Troy off to enjoy their honeymoon!
